MICHAEL, Kristia

Kristia Michael is a vocalist, composer, and sound artist from Cyprus, based in the Netherlands. She has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Studies from ARTE Music Academy in Cyprus, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Sciences from the University of Cyprus. Kristia pursued advanced studies at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where she earned her Master’s degree in “New Audiences and Innovative Practice” with cum laude distinction.

Her artistic focus integrates spiritual and experiential elements within sound. Michael actively collaborates with composers, participating in world premieres and engaging in avant-garde, multimedia, and cross-over projects. Her performances span solo and chamber music, exploring a wide dynamic range from silence to more intense sonic expressions.
