Mikeila McQueston (born 1998) is a composer, performer, and educator. Her work is characterized by a blend of artistic interests.
One notable composition by McQueston is "The Minotaur." This piece, which draws inspiration from poetry, explores a hypothetical existence for the mythical Minotaur after its time in the labyrinth. According to Frank Daykin of the New York Concert Review, "The Minotaur" reached "shattering climaxes of near chaos before subsiding in most effective fashion." The review also notes the involvement of "Fistful of Tigers" in relation to this work.
