Composer and talented pianist, acclaimed by the spanish and french press of the time. She studied with Eduardo Compta, Rafael Hernando, Isaac Albéniz, amongst others. Since 1920, she taught Music Theory at the Real Conservatorio de Música y Declamación (Madrid).

María Luisa Chevallier's activity as a composer was not extensive, but her most famous piece is the Sonata in C minor, which she performed on numerous occasions in many of her concerts, along with other original works, as mentioned earlier, in the concert she gave at the Ateneo.
