MANTAUX, Anne

Anne Mantaux is a contemporary French composer, violist, and music educator. Trained in classical viola performance, chamber music, music theory, and composition in France, she developed an artistic career bridging contemporary instrumental performance and musical creation.

As a composer, Mantaux has focused primarily on chamber music, works for strings (notably the viola and string ensemble), vocal settings, and educational literature. Her musical language explores expressive acoustic colors, nuanced textures, and modern modal and harmonic relationships.
