MANJON, Cristina

Cristina Manjón (widely known as Nita Manjón or simply Nita) is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and composer best known as the lead vocalist, co-founder, and principal creative collaborator of the electronic-flamenco band Fuel Fandango, alongside producer and multi-instrumentalist Ale Acosta.

Immersed in Andalusian flamenco and copla from childhood, Manjón developed a powerful vocal style that she fused with modern electronica, funk, rock, and soul. As a composer and lyricist, she has co-written and fronted Fuel Fandango across critically acclaimed albums such as Fuel Fandango (2011), Trece Lunas (2013), Aurora (2016), and the chart-topping Origen (2020), as well as the EP Romances (2022). Her boundary-pushing approach has made her one of modern Spain's defining figures in contemporary flamenco fusion, touring internationally across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
