Dariya Maminova is a Russian-born, Germany-based composer, pianist, singer, and multimedia artist. She received classical training in piano and composition at the Saint Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory before continuing her advanced studies in Germany at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Cologne), where she studied composition with Johannes Schöllhorn and electronic music with Michael Beil.
Maminova's multidisciplinary work moves fluidly between contemporary classical music, experimental electronic soundscapes, music theater, pop, and performance art. She frequently integrates live electronics, video, movement, and her own voice and keyboard playing into immersive stage experiences. Her works and multimedia productions have been performed by renowned ensembles—such as Ensemble Musikfabrik, Ensemble Garage, and Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME)—and featured at major European new-music festivals including Acht Brücken, Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik, and reMusik.org.
