Fabienne Magnant is a French classical guitarist, performer, composer, and music teacher. She began studying classical guitar during her childhood. Her training notably included instruction under Olivier Chassain and Roland Dyens, both of whom served as professors at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
At the age of 25, after earning her conservatory prizes, Magnant spent several months traveling in Brazil. During her stay, she met musicians from a wide variety of backgrounds and spent time alongside the Brazilian guitarist Baden Powell and the composer Cesar Guerra Peixe.
Since her trip to Brazil, Magnant has devoted herself to musical creation. Her work encompasses composing, arranging, performing on stage, and teaching. As an interpreter and composer, she produces balanced compositions and arrangements, drawing on her classical background and her musical experiences abroad.
