Little is known of "Miss Norah A Lynch," other than her published piano piece entitled A Plunket Waltz, dedicated to one Lady Plunket in c. 1906. The score is archived in the National Library of New Zealand. At the time of composition, Lynch was a pupil at St. Mary's High School in Ponsonby, New Zealand.
