KOTTLER, Waltraud

As a singer, pianist, and songwriter, I move between jazz, folk, and pop, and with songs that need nothing more. I have sung in New York and Johannesburg, performed in Paris and Vienna, and have also done music theater, dance performances, film music, and radio plays.

My own songs – in five languages, including Viennese – are available on CD: Innermusic meets the outside as a duo with Andreas Thaller, Brilanza as a trio with Huw Warren and Peter Herbert, Liebe oder lieber nicht as a living room edition for solo cabaret, the studio album Songs for real with Didi Konzett, Andreas Riedmann and Lisa Ess – and a live album from the Viennese Porgy & Bess.
