KERBY, Caroline

Caroline Kerby (active early 19th century) was an English young-lady pianist and minor composer known in Regency-era London musical circles. She was recognized in London for her technical ability, famously noted for playing Johann Sebastian Bach fugues at age thirteen with "ease and accuracy".
