Kathy Jackanich is an American contemporary and avant-garde composer. She is particularly well-known for her chamber works and her close collaborative relationship with the Zeitgeist New Music Ensemble.Her contemporary music contributions include her prominent piece Polarity and the track Katherine’s Lament. She has been featured on major classical and contemporary music releases: "In Bone-Colored Light" (Innova® Recordings) - an album featuring original compositions by Jackanich alongside works by Ethan Wickman, Anthony Gatto, and Jerome Kitzke.
