Lilia Iskhakova, Russia, composer from Kazan, laureate of all-Russian and international competitions (S. Gubaidulina I International Competition of Composers, VI Open Competition of Composers “Prokofiev’s Time”, VIII International Competition of Composers “Dedication to Tchaikovsky”, etc.); participant of the IX International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky, 4th and 5th International Young Composers Academy Ticino Musica (Switzerland), Young Women Composers Camp (USA), Choral Laboratory of the 21st Century, Creative Laboratory for Composers re:Formers Lab, VI Laboratory of Contemporary Composers “Open Space” and other academies and workshops; resident of the laboratory of contemporary music ClassicElectric 2020/21. Lilia experiments with timbre sounding of instruments, musical styles and genres, works with electro-acoustic music and Tatar folklore.
