American electronic instrumentalist, pianist, lecturer and composer. Boston, July 27, 1928. She studied at Yale University College of Music and Queens College, where she received a B.A. music magna cum laude (1975). She studied the piano under Bruce Simons and Harry Knox, composition under Hugo Weisgall, Lee Kraft and Joseph Goodman and electronic synthesis under Hubert Howe. She taught music and theory privately. She was co-winner of the Alter Machlis prize for composition
