IM, Kyungshin

Kyung-Shin Im is a South Korean composer who holds a degree in composition from Ewha Womans University and its graduate school. She pursued further studies in France, graduating from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, and completed a doctoral program at the University of Paris IV (Sorbonne). Throughout her career, she has taught at various institutions, including Ewha Womans University, the University of Seoul, Chugye University for the Arts, Suwon University, and the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of the Korean Association of Women Composers and is an active member of the New Music Society and the Composition Group Delos.
