An acousmatic music composer, Anne-Claude Iger enjoys working with sounds from her environment—sounds of everyday life, as well as those of specific places or people close to her. The voice plays a significant role in her work.
Her pieces are performed at festivals in Italy (Silence – Bari), Belgium (Ars Musica – Liège), Portugal (Sound Walk – Lisbon), and France (Futura – Crest, Multiphonies – Paris). Her work is also regularly broadcast on the radio.
