Małgorzata Hussar is a Polish composer, music theorist and academic teacher.
She studied music theory at the State School of Music in Katowice in the years 1969–1974, then studied composition there with Henryk Mikołaj Górecki in the years 1974–1978. She worked as an assistant at the Department of Music Theory and Musical Folklore at the Cieszyn Branch of the University of Silesia (at the Institute of Music of the Branch of the University of Silesia) from 1981.
Małgorzata has won the following awards: 2nd prize for the 1st string quartet at the 22nd Competition for Young Composers of the Polish Composers' Union (1979) and
distinction for String Trio at the 8th International Competition for Women Composers in Mannheim (1985)
