HUANG, Qin

Qin Huang, MA, was born in 1981 in Guangdong (People's Republic of China). She has lived in Vienna since 2002, where in 2003 she began studying composition with Prof. Dietmar Schermann and piano pedagogy with Prof. In 2008, she continued her studies at the same university, focusing on conducting with orchestral conducting under Prof. Uros Lajovic, choral conducting with Prof. In 2009, her radio play "Industrie" won second prize at the "Radio Play09 – Short Radio Play Competition" in Linz. She completed her studies in media composition with a Master's degree in June 2010. In June 2011, she earned her first diploma in conducting and choral conducting. She currently works as a composer, arranger, conductor, choral director, singer, and vocal coach for choirs and ensembles in Austria and China.
