Ella Christina Heiberg (born Ellen Christina Heiberg), a singer of ballads and songs, was the daughter of Jonas Dyberg (died 1905) and his wife, Louise Forslund. She studied piano, voice, music history, and counterpoint, graduating from the Stockholm Conservatory of Music. She began composing while still young. After her time at the conservatory, she traveled to Copenhagen in 1913; there, she gave a concert in the Marble Garden (*Marmorhaven*) at the Palace Hotel featuring songs by Bellman and G. Fröding, and later played the role of Anna in the musical play *Värmlänningarna* in Dyrehaven.

Following a performance at Lorry Feilberg’s literary cabaret on Allégade, she went on to work as a cabaret artist. In the summer of 1917, she appeared in the Tivoli Revue under her birth name, Ella Dyberg, alongside the Swedish revue performer Ernst Rolf, with whom she had previously toured Sweden. Additionally, she appeared in Frede Skaarup’s *Scala* revues in 1922, 1923, and 1925, and took part in the Josephine Baker revue at the Dagmar Theatre. She also composed a few classical works, including a ballet suite in 1950.
