HANNAPPI, Diana

Diana Hannappi began learning the flute at the age of four in Brigitte Formanek's recorder class. Later, she received her first flute lessons at the Vienna Music School from Fereshteh Rahbari and subsequently studied with Johann Pichler. After graduating from high school, she studied instrumental pedagogy with Raphael Leone at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Professor Leone succeeded Birgit Ramsl-Gaal (principal flutist of the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra). Numerous masterclasses, including those with James Galway, Will Offermanns, and Philippe Bernold, provided her with further experience.
