Birgit Gentner is a German musician, vocalist, pianist, and choral director. She studied School Music at the Karlsruhe University of Music, with piano as her principal instrument and voice as her advanced performance subject, and later studied Jazz and Popular Music at the Trossingen University of Music, specializing in jazz piano and jazz voice. Gentner composes for choirs, children's choirs, ensembles, and her own songs, and is active as a performer in both classical and jazz music.
