Clementine Gasser is a Swiss composer and cellist born in Lucerne. She studied at the Conservatory of Lucerne with Peter Leisegang and later studied jazz composition at the Conservatory of Vienna. Since 1996, she has worked as a freelance composer and performer, specializing in contemporary music, jazz, and free improvisation. She is the founder of the Vienna-based label Wilde Kammermusik (WKM) and has collaborated with institutions including the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF/Ö1), and numerous international festivals for contemporary music, jazz and improvised music in Europe and USA.
