GAMBELLI, Francesca

Francesca Gambelli is a composer graduated in Choral Music and Choir Direction and in Composition at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, with Concetta Anastasi, Barbara Rettagliati and Paolo Furlani. Francesca’s compositions have been performed on various occasions (V Edition of Tempo Reale Festival, GAMO festival – XXXIII anno, femFestival Play 2021, etc). She won Third prize (First and Second Prizes not having been awarded) at the 3rd Choral Composition Competition “Roffi” (Ferrara, 2019). She was a finalist at the 4th International Composition Competition Virgo Vox (Milano, 2020) and won the 2nd Prize (First not having been awarded) in the Voice and Piano Section at the 6th International Composition Competition “Antonio Smareglia” (Udine, 2020). In 2021 she won the 3rd Prize at the International Composition Competition “Women Composers” 2021.
