GALLEGO SANCHEZ, Angela

She studied at the Madrid Conservatory of Music, furthering her studies in composition through numerous courses and a master’s degree at the University of Évora under the guidance of composer Christopher Bochmann. Since 2002, the year of her first major commission, she has continued to present her work in public, and her compositions have premiered at numerous festivals and concert halls both in Spain and abroad. She balances her artistic career with teaching, and currently serves as a professor of Fundamentals of Composition at the Joaquín Turina Professional Conservatory of Music in Madrid.
