Marie-Thérèse Rynduch-Gaertner is a French composer, pianist, and educator born in Mulhouse. She was awarded First Prize in Piano in 1949 and the Prix d'Excellence in Piano in 1951. She composed numerous educational works for active music-learning approaches using the Orff Instrumentarium, many of which were published by Schott and Leduc. She composed works for piano, oboe, and trombone, including the Concertino for piano four hands, Triptyque for two pianos, Romance for oboe and piano, and Dialogue en résonance for trombone and piano. She also wrote several unpublished compositions.
