FROHBEITER, Ann W

Ann W. Frohbeiter is an American organist, musicologist, and composer. She is prominently recognized within the classical and liturgical organ communities for her work as both a performer and a scholar. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) from Rice University, where her doctoral work included significant historical research on the German-born American composer and organist Herman Berlinski, providing critical historical commentary on his early life and musical career under Nazi Germany. Her activities as a composer and church musician are closely linked to her mastery of the organ.
