FRIEDBERG, Patricia Ann

Patricia Ann Friedberg is a British-born author, journalist, and multidisciplinary creative who has also composed music for theater and ballet. She grew up in London, England, experiencing World War II firsthand. She moved to South Africa and the Rhodesias (now Zambia and Zimbabwe) following her marriage to a cardiologist. She was relocated to the United States due to civil unrest, where she studied at university, wrote community columns, and hosted the NBC-affiliated TV talk show "People of the Book" in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She composed original music scores for theatrical productions and wrote the score for a ballet.
