Katherine Lasater Freiberger, often known affectionately as Katy, was an American composer, pianist, and dedicated musical philanthropist based in Texas. Her notable preserved creative works include The Coffee-Pot Face: Seven Settings of poems by Aileen Fisher, a manuscript cataloged within the Mu Phi Epsilon Library & Archives. Throughout her life, she was a generous supporter of the arts, particularly the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, where she spent decades as an avid concertgoer and patron.
