Mabe Fratti is a Guatemalan experimental cellist, composer, and vocalist currently based in Mexico City. Raised in a Pentecostalist household in Guatemala, she was classically trained on the cello and began exploring avant-garde improvisation as a teenager. Her music blends classical, ambient, folk, jazz, and avant-rock with modern pop sensibilities, shoegaze, and dream pop.
