Trine Franksdatter (born 26 September 1990, Lørenskog) is a Norwegian composer from Drøbak. She received her bachelor's degree in composition from the Norwegian Academy of Music and her master's degree in composition from the Grieg Academy in Bergen. She founded the vocal ensemble Staffeldtsgate Vokalensemble (later Franksdatter Vokalensemble) in 2011, consisting of five women who exclusively perform her own works. She is known for writing beautiful, melodic music with sacred timbres and folk musical ornaments. Her Latin-texted mass Ordet was premiered in Paulus Church in Oslo in 2013 and has been released as an album (2017).
