Hedy Frank-Autheried was an Austrian composer who spent her life and career working in Vienna. She began studying music at the Vienna Academy, but personal circumstances prevented her from finishing her education at that time. She resumed her musical path by studying composition under the guidance of the composer Camillo Horn. After finishing her training, she worked independently as a composer in Austria until her death in Vienna in 1979.
