Notes:
Emmy von François was a German composer. She was the writer of marches for military band, and various piano compositions (Romanze, Gavotte, Nocturne, etc.). She was active during the late 19th Century (around 1880), but her exact dates of birth and death remain unknown: because she was a highly specialized minor composer of her era, no standard long-form biography (covering her birthplace, education, or personal life) was ever published or preserved in modern encyclopedias.
