FOWLER, Jennifer Joan

Jennifer Joan Fowler is a composer whose artistic philosophy centers on conveying a sense of evolving logic and inevitable progression in her music. She aims to stimulate imagination by deviating from known paths, fostering a vision that communicates excitement. Fowler's work has been featured in recent recordings, including chamber music performed by the ensemble Lontano, directed by Odaline de la Martinez, with vocalists Raphaela Papadakis and Lauren Easton. This recording, released on the Metier label (MSV 28588) in September 2019, features six of her works. A review of the track "Streaming Up" is available, and the CD itself was reviewed in The Music Trust online magazine in February 2020. Her composition "Threaded Stars" for harp, performed by Jacinta Dennett, was also recorded.
