Notes:

Addie Walling Forman was an American pianist, organist, and highly prolific composer. Writing during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, she composed more than 300 musical pieces. To bypass the industry's bias against female creators, she submitted her scores under the name R. R. Forman. For decades, even her publishers had no idea she was a woman when purchasing her manuscripts. After establishing a stellar national reputation, she gradually stepped out of anonymity by adding "Mrs." to her professional pen name.
