C. Marian Fishman is an American composer. She is best known for her chamber and instrumental works, particularly her celebrated Six studies in sonorities for four woodwinds (flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon) published by Carl Fischer. Active in the mid-to-late 20th century, she held composer residencies at prestigious colonies such as MacDowell in 1970 and Yaddo. Her catalog also includes notable pieces such as Glimpses.
