FIELD, Hilary

Hilary Field is an international classical guitar performing and recording artist and composer. She performs internationally as a soloist, as part of a duo with violist Gwen Franz, and in collaboration with vocalist Patrice O'Neill.

Field's discography includes the solo release *Premieres*, which contains the first recordings of several classical compositions, many written specifically for her. On April 16, 2013, she released the album *Airoso* with violist Gwen Franz. Her musical output also includes the piece "Donzella: Fantasia on a Sephardic Lullaby."

Field was awarded a City Artists Project Grant from the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture for her composition project titled "Ode to Hope: New Guitar Music and Poetry of the Americas." Her performance activities include concerts in Oregon and the Seattle area, as well as an appearance at the 24th ICPNA International Guitar Festival. Her work has also been featured on KING-FM Seattle.
