Leonore Helene Feininger (often known as Lore Feininger) was a German artist, photographer, composer and musician. She belonged to an illustrious, deeply musical and artistic family: her father was the renowned German-American Expressionist painter and Bauhaus master Lyonel Feininger.
Growing up surrounded by both the fine arts and music, she developed her career as an active composer and contributed meaningfully to the German musical avant-garde of her time.
