She was a composer who taught at Holy Names Academy in Seattle from 1959 to 1976. She was also a co-founder of the Seattle Archdiocesan Commission on Sacred Music and a three-time first place winner in the Mu Phi Epsilon national composition competition. Her works have been performed on the West Coast and in Europe.
