Notes:

Mary Fauche was a 19th-century female composer and musician associated with the Romantic era. She is best known for composing the pastoral English opera "The Shepherd King", or the "Conquest of Sidon" (Op. 1) in 1823. In recent years, her work has been brought back into the spotlight by performers like soprano Danae Eleni, who has sung selections from "The Shepherd King" in modern revivals.
