CHO, Jessica

Jessica Cho is a Malaysian composer and pianist born in Kuala Lumpur. She studied piano performance at Middlesex University and composition at the University of Sheffield. Her works include orchestral and chamber music, with a particular focus on contemporary piano compositions. She received third prize at the Asian Composers League Young Composer Competition in 2011 for Five Little Pieces for Piano. Her composition Capricious was published by Schott Music in 2022. She also initiated Interweaves (2016), Malaysia’s first recording project dedicated to women composers.
