CHEN, Linxi

Linxi Chen is a Chinese composer, sound artist, and pianist, born in 2000. Based in Zürich and active across Europe, she creates interdisciplinary works combining sound with visual art, movement, stage design, and spatial performance. She is currently a graduate composition student at Columbia University. music.columbia.edu
Her works include Beryl, poppy breath towards me for vocal ensemble, was in return, and i see the vessel swelling in the membrane, it bursts with red and green for ensemble and film. Her music has been performed by groups including Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart and Ensemble Modern.
