Milada Červenková is a Czech composer, violinist and pianist born in Třebíč in 1947. She studied violin and piano at the Brno Conservatory and later composition with Milan Báchorek at the Ostrava Conservatory. For many years she was a violinist with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra in Olomouc. Her catalogue includes orchestral, chamber, piano, organ and vocal music, including Passacaglia for Large Orchestra, String Quartet, Violin Sonata and Pastoral Suite for Flute and Harp. In 1992, her Sonata for Violin and Piano received a prize from the Czech Music Fund.
