Maria Cazati was an Italian composer active in the eighteenth century. Her name appears in modern reference indexes of women composers, but surviving online sources provide no biographical dates or securely attributable compositions. No titles of her works, manuscript locations, or documented performances could be verified; she therefore remains an exceptionally obscure historical figure.
