Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, née Spencer, was an English writer, political organiser and amateur composer. Although better known for her literary and public activities, she contributed to the popular and theatrical song repertory of late eighteenth-century Britain. Two compositions have survived, both of which circulated in several editions and arrangements in Britain and the United States.
