Signora Cattina is an inadequately documented name included in some lists of women composers. Eighteenth-century sources mention a celebrated Venetian singer known as Cattina, while a soprano named Cattina Licini is documented as a performer at the Ospedale degli Incurabili during the 1740s. However, it has not been established that these references concern the same woman. No biographical information or musical works identifying Signora Cattina as a composer have been detected. She should therefore be regarded as an unverified composer attribution and primarily as a possible historical performer.
