CATOR, Veronica

Veronica Cator is an American composer whose music is shaped by narrative, imagery and collaboration with other art forms. She studied composition with Clint Needham and Jonathan Sokol at Baldwin Wallace University, where she earned a degree in music composition. In 2019 she participated in LunART’s Emerging Composers programme and the highSCORE Music Festival. Her works include Direction for string quartet, Jamie’s Lullaby, written through a residency with the contemporary duo Transient Canvas, as well as Moving On, Ave Maria and Conformity. Her creative interests encompass chamber music, musical theatre, dance and music for visual media.
