Tatiana Lima Castro is a Brazilian composer, multi-instrumentalist and psychoanalyst born in London. She began studying piano at the age of twelve and later studied composition at the Brazilian Conservatory of Music in Rio de Janeiro. Her musical language combines contemporary Romantic and minimalist elements, frequently drawing inspiration from images, sensations and dreams. Her catalogue includes piano, chamber and orchestral music, with works such as Sonata The Lake, The Tempest, Guitarras de Granada, Fantasia sobre Tema de Pangur Bán, Canção da Floresta and Onírica No. 1, premiered by the Brazilian National Symphony Orchestra in 2023.
