French composer, pianist and harpsichordist, born in Paris into the distinguished Casadesus musical family. She began her musical career as a pianist but became particularly known as a harpsichordist. As a member of the Société des instruments anciens, founded by her brother Henri Casadesus, she performed early music on historical instruments and toured internationally. Her small compositional output includes several songs, among them Le Lac (1946), written to a text by her husband, the writer Aurèle Patorni, and the one-act musical fantasy Allô ! Mars ? (1932). She also published the memoir Souvenirs d’une claveciniste: ma famille Casadesus posthumously in 1962.
