Olive Amelia Carrivick was an English organist, pianist, percussionist, composer and music educator. She was born in Newquay, Cornwall, in 1905. In 1923, her name appeared among the licentiates of the Royal Academy of Music in London, indicating that she had completed professional musical training at a young age.
Later biographical reference works identify Carrivick as a composer as well as an instrumentalist and teacher. However, no titles of her compositions, published scores, performances or recordings can currently be traced through accessible online catalogues. Consequently, the extent and character of her compositional work remain unknown.
Carrivick later lived in Bristol and died there on 10 November 1955, aged fifty.
