CARNES, Megan

Megan Carnes is an American composer whose work focuses primarily on music for film, animation, video games and podcasts. She has composed for media for more than ten years and has a particular interest in minimalism, chamber ensembles and interactive music, in which musical layers change according to the player’s actions.

Her credits include the documentary Shouting Down Midnight, the video games Which Is Witch, Divinuet and inter-view, the animation I’m Still Here, and the web series This Is Desmondo Ray!. She also contributed additional music to the game Helheim Hassle. Carnes received the Tropfest Award for Best Original Score for I’m Still Here in 2018, while This Is Desmondo Ray! won Best Music at the 2018 T.O. Webfest.
