She studied composition with Chiara Benati and Giovanni Bonato, with whom she graduated in 1996 in Mantua. She had already obtained a diploma in Choral Music and Choral Conducting in Rovigo in 1991 and subsequently in Electronic Music with Nicola Bernardini in Padua in 2002. She attended advanced courses with Francesco Valdambrini (1990-1993), Mauro Bonifacio at the Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan (1998-2001), and Salvatore Sciarrino (1997-2000), and participated in seminars and masterclasses with Gerard Grisey, Helmut Lachenmann, Marco Stroppa, and Alvise Vidolin. She also studied singing and piano.
